Future Business Leaders of America

2024 KPMG Future Leaders Program Application

Excellent opportunity for girls interested in STEM!

The KPMG Future Leaders Program is a charitable initiative designed to increase the diversity pipeline of women in business and STEM fields. Funded by the proceeds from the KPMG Women’s PGA Championship and KPMG Women’s Leadership Summit, the KPMG Future Leaders Program annually awards twenty-two students in their senior year of high school the opportunity to enhance their personal growth throughout their college experience with annual scholarships, ongoing development and support, mentorship and an introduction to golf. If interested, access the application here. Completed applications must be submitted by midnight, February 1, 2024.

A group of Principles of Entrepreneurship students participated in OCPS Inspiring Innovation Day on December 1st at the Marriott Orlando Downtown. The students were placed in groups and paired with a coach from the business community. They were challenged  to harness artificial intelligence (AI) to make their community more inclusive, peaceful, or sustainable. They had to consider how to use new or existing AI software around them. They were then tasked to come up with a 90-second or less innovative idea for the judges. I’m proud to announce that Team Rocket (Tyler Campbell, Megan Quesada, Landon Hernandez, Vidya Matthews) were Fast Business Pitch Winners and won Amazon gift cards.

All teams represented West Orange well and will submit their pitches to the NFTE World Series of Innovation Competition.

Congratulations to our 2023-2024 FBLA Officers!
