Dual Enrollment

Dual enrollment is an articulated acceleration mechanism open to secondary students who are attending public high school. To enroll in dual enrollment academic courses, students must demonstrate a readiness to successfully complete college-level course work and have attained a qualifying grade point average. In order to determine the high school equivalency and the high school credit awarded for postsecondary courses completed through dual enrollment, please refer to the most current Dual Enrollment Equivalency List. Please refer to student services  for dual enrollment requirements and important dates.

We will hold one last PERT test of the school year on April 22nd.  If you are interested in doing Dual Enrollment for the Spring 2025 term, you may sign up to take the PERT test.  The deadline to sign up is 12:00PM (Noon) on April 17th.

Keep in mind:

1.  This is NOT a test you should take if you are going to do Dual Enrollment through Westside Tech.

2.  You must have a 3.0 GPA to be eligible for Dual Enrollment

3.  Your scores are only valid for 2 calendar years.

Sign up here.

PERT Testing is scheduled for January 16, 2024.

Deadline to signup is January 10th @ noon.

In order to be eligible for Dual Enrollment, students must have at least a 3.0 GPA.  If they do not have a 3.0, it is not recommended that they test at this time.  Also, as a reminder, their scores are only good for 2 calendars years.  This administration would make students eligible for Dual Enrollment for Fall 2024, so only 9th - 11th graders are eligible to test.

If your student would like to take the PERT in January, they will need to complete the Google Form,  https://tinyurl.com/PERTJan24Links to an external site. from their OCPS student account.
