WOHS is participating in the District-wide OCPS READS Challenge. The district is trying to have students and staff read twenty million words. The campaign runs from January 27th - April 30th. Students and staff will be recording minutes read in our program BeanStack. This will be promoted through April 30th. Prizes and rewards will be presented to individuals and classrooms who achieve the highest number of minutes read. Learn more about it at read.ocps.net.

Here's a reminder of our prioritized severe weather makeup days for the 2024-2025 school year. Just a heads up: These are for informational purposes as hurricane season runs through Nov. 30.
These are the days to choose from if a makeup day is required when severe weather closes schools.

Orange County Public Schools' partnership with Hazel Health means your student can get high-quality telehealth care at no cost to your family. Students can get virtual medical care or teletherapy at school or at home on any smartphone, tablet, or computer. All Hazel Health visits are safe and confidential.

The OCPS Parent Academy offers district-wide, face-to-face Parent Academies. Learn Where You Live events which take place in each learning community, and virtual Lunch & Learn events on Facebook Live.
In addition to the OCPS Parent Academy events, there are monthly trainings held by the Curriculum and Digital Learning, Discipline, Exceptional Student Education, Multilingual Services, Professional Learning and Student Services departments for families.
