THANKSGIVING BREAK
Happy Thanksgiving to all Warrior families!
Schools are closed all week,
November 25th-29th.
We hope everyone enjoys the break and some much deserved time with family and friends!
2nd Quarter Progress Report
Quarter 2 Progress Reports have been posted to Family Access on Skyward. To view the report, log into your account and click on the “Portfolio” tab. If you are having issues accessing the report, please reach out to the school for help.
Testing
The FAST PM2 Reading Test, part of the midyear FAST Progress Monitoring, will take place on Tuesday, December 3rd (the week we return from Thanksgiving break). Students should check their Canvas for their assigned testing locations.
Be sure to bring your school-issued laptop and charger, as there will be no extra chargers available.
Underclass Retake/Makeup Picture Day
Wednesday, December 11th – This is the day for students who missed picture day or need a retake.
Winter Concert
Join us for our winter concert on December 11th!!
We will be in the courtyard this year so you're more than welcome to bring chairs and blankets!
Stakeholder Input
Per Florida Statutes, the new book purchasing process must allow for stakeholder input, meaning all students, faculty, staff, and community members must have access to the titles we are looking to purchase. Below are lists of books that we are looking to add to our Media Center at West Orange High School. If you review the lists and have concerns with a certain title/title, please let us know as soon as possible by contacting Ms. Wallner at shirley.wallner@ocps.net. Thank you for your input.
